REV'IT! RSR 4 Gloves
The RSR 4 motorcycle gloves claim their spot within our Sport hand protection collection, offering a complete package to riders without going full spec. The highly abrasion-resistant leather outer shell has armoring features such as a carbon hard knuckle protector, a hard-shell palm slider, and a TPU wrist protector on the double closure long cuff. These motorcycle gloves offer the highest level of comfort on warmer summer days thanks to ventilation panels at the fingers.

Sizing Information
We find that gloves from REV’IT! are generally very consistent in fit from one model to the next, and we find they run a bit on the snug side as compared to most US based brands. The fit is very similar to Alpinestars which also fit more snugly than other brands of gloves. The tendency to run small is not so noticeable that we’d advise you to buy one size larger, but if you are sometimes in between sizes, your best shot would be to choose larger. Hopefully, you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based on the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.
Our Two Cents
The RSR 4 glove by REVIT is a very good “entry level” race glove or a very good glove for sport/street use. The overall construction is very good good quality and the glove has the basic “must have” features for sport riding.
With this RSR 4 glove, Revit has included the things they think most sport riders will want, and they are “keeping it simple” so that the gloves are more affordable. Of course you get a basic gauntlet for complete wrist coverage with dual hook and loop closure straps. The main protective features are the carbon hard shell knuckle cover, which has a matte finish, and the TPU hard shell palm slider. The TPU palm slider is backed with Temperfoam® padding. They’ve also included Temperfoam® in the finger knuckles and on the cuff. The function of the knuckle cover is obvious… to protect your knuckles from impact damage if you fall. The carbon design is fast becoming an industry standard and looks sharp too. The slider in the heel of the hand is there for a measure of impact protection, but also to promote sliding on pavement if you put your hands out palm down. The idea is that when you impact, you’d rather have the hands slide than “grab” and probably twist upon impact.
The gloves are largely made of leather and there are double layers in strategic spots like the side of the pinkie and in the heel of the hand around the slider. And of course, you get the hook and loop closure at the wrist to hold the glove on your hand in case of a fall. Also, the gauntlet is adjustable to make it fit over/under your jacket sleeve depending upon what you are wearing. Overall a very competent glove with quality construction and materials. :: Mike, 02-23-2022
