My last premium helmet was an Arai RX-Q. It was replaced with an AGV K3, which is now being replaced with the RF-1400 and it’ll be hard for me to ever stray from Shoei or Arai again. The fit for me is perfect. It feels about as perfect as my RX-Q did, so if you know the RX-Q was a good fit for you, this would be a good replacement. Aerodynamics are great. Noise is very low, surprisingly low, at least after getting used to the K3. Even wearing it around my house to test the fit, voices were muffled more than usual. An hour without earplugs going to work and I had no fatigue. You can definitely feel the air immediately when opening the vents, or lowering the face shield while moving with top vents open, even when 80+ degrees outside. Center shield release is nice, takes only a few tries with gloves to get used to the button. Going to try to keep using my old Sena SMH-5, but it’s looking like it may have to go with double-sided tape. The bottom of the shell and the neck padding don’t look like the most accommodating for clamps.
