Cortech Aero-Tec 2.0 Gloves

The Aero-Tec 2.0 glove from Cortech is a short cuffed sport style glove that prioritizes comfort and airflow. In many ways similar to the Aero-Flo 2.0, the Aero-Tec 2.0 is primarily made up of goatskin leather with overlays on the side of the hand and pinky finger, AX® Suede .75mm with palm overlays (an AX® Suede Connect .75mm palm is more durable than similar thicknesses of leather), High-Flo spandex mesh that is found on the fingers and back of hand to promote cooling as well as four-way stretch fourchettes for optimized fit and feel. To further aid in comfort there is also perforation on the fingers, a tricot polyester lining and a neoprene cuff with a TPR hook and loop wrist closure. The Aero-Tec 2.0 glove also features a pre-curved construction.

Looking at protection the Aero-Tech 2.0 gloves feature a flexible TPR knuckle protector as well as finger protectors. Additional protection is provided by the foam padding on the thumb knuckle, the palm as well as the side of the hand.

Overall the Aero-Tec 2.0 gloves feel much like the Aero-Flo 2.0 gloves and are very light and comfortable, with extreme dexterity and feel for a motorcycle glove. From a fit standpoint a size large, what I normally wear, fit me normally, my only complaint was that the thumb was just a tad long, but that could be a me problem. From a design and style standpoint the Aero-Tec 2.0 gloves come in four different colors and feature a rubber checkered flag on top of the wrist, as well as a printed Cortech logo on the pinky and a rubber Cortech logo on the wrist closure.

The Aero-Tec 2.0 gloves are touch screen compatible and performed well with both Android and iPhone devices.

For me personally, the Aero-Tec 2.0 gloves, much like the Aero-Flo 2.0 gloves are a solid glove for the money, but I would spend the additional few bucks to level up to the Cortech Sonic Flo Plus gloves as I feel that they are better looking, offer better protection and just have more features overall. Again, like other Cortech gloves as well as many other USA based brands (only motorcycle products sold in European markets are required to do CE testing) , Cortech doesn’t list if these gloves are CE rated or not, typically the CE rating is a “bragging” point if you will, so when a company doesn’t list it, it typically means the product isn’t CE rated. Now this could mean that the product, in this case these gloves, isn’t able to pass a CE certification, or it could simply mean that the manufacturer never had it tested.
