REV'IT! Core 2 Pant

Our staff tried on a few different sizes of the Core 2 pants and we found a good fit in the size we usually wear in men’s clothing. We found the fit to be a bit snug in our normal size which would be ideal for wearing under motorcycling pants. For that purpose ,we recommend you buy the size you normally wear in men’s clothing.

The Core 2 Pants from REV’IT! are an insulating mid layer pant that is meant to be a set with REV’IT!’s Core 2 insulating mid layer jacket. These pants, like the jacket are meant to be worn under your protective motorcycle gear as they do not offer any abrasion resistance or impact protection and are designed to t keep you warm on cool to cold weather riding days. The beauty of these pants, much like their matching jacket is that they pack up quite small and fit in to the included transport bag making them super convenient to take with you on your motorcycle adventures. When it cools down they are right there for you when you need them and when it warms up they go pack in their bag and easily fit in a backpack, a tank bag, under the seat of a motorcycle and so on, with how small they pack there is no reason to not bring them along. A size XL packed up is roughly six inches wide by nine inches tall.

Overall build of the Core 2 pants is polyester with thermal insulation, with reflective logos on the back and on the lower leg to aid in night time visibility. To help in comfort, the Core 2 pants feature a straight fit, this means that it is mostly a relaxed fit from the waist to the ankles, without any visible contouring or tapering, the primary focus here is comfort. There is also elastic at the waistband and cuff to help get the right fit and to improve comfort.

The Core 2 pants could technically, like the Core 2 jacket be worn off of the bike as a standalone pant or as a destination pant once you arrive from your ride, but in my opinion unlike some of REV’IT!’s other mid layers the Core 2 line doesn’t resist wrinkles as well and looks a bit messy once unpacked, The pants specifically seem to be the worst at resisting wrinkles, and to me the pants don’t look as finished or as flattering as the Core 2 jacket so for me personally I don’t think I would wear them as standalone pants but would rather keep them strictly as a mid layer to wear under my gear. Regardless of my opinion on their looks. They still do a great job of keeping you warm as a mid layer and that is the entire point. :: Damir 5/2/24
