My comment is on the Firstgear 37.5 Basegear Short Sleeve shirts. I was looking for a "Do-it-all" base layer shirt to wear either either alone (directly under my motorcycle jacket in warm weather) or as the base layer with additional mid layers in cooler weather. Initially, I was a bit skeptical on the new age-like claims of the 37.5 Basegear fabric of the exceptional wicking ability and keeping the core to an ideal 37.5% humidity. But after wearing the shirt, I'm very impressed with the comfort level as the waffle pattern and fabric hand felt very good against the skin. And better yet, the wicking performance is very good. It performs so well that I ended up ordering additional shirts to use as the base layer under my bicycling jersey (see photo, taken just after a bicycling ride today, worked great in the high 60s); this shirt really can be used in many application with its performance flexibility. And with the MG discount pricing, this shirt is a great deal. Please note: My experience is the sizing runs small. I'm a lean 5'6" tall, 37" chest, 29" waist, 132 lbs; the size chart recommended a Small, but the small was far to tight and was very uncomfortable. I moved up to a Medium which fits much better. I honesty would suggest going up a size to get a good fit. This shirt actually exceeded my expectations and was a pleasant surprise; I ended up getting some for the rest of the family.
