Sizing Information

We measured and tried on a selection of these pants and we developed a size chart to help you choose a size based upon your waist and inseam. The size chart below is partially ours and partially REV’IT’s chart. The largest waist size listed in the chart are with the waist adjusters full open. The waist size adjustment straps work pretty well to give you size adjustability… we estimate about 2” as the range indicates.

As you can see in the chart, the pants are available in regular, short and tall inseam sizes, so choose the inseam you normally wear in slacks or jeans. The pants also have adjustability of the armor height (independent of inseam length) which can be accessed by pulling each leg inside out (see our photo gallery for a pic of this). Velcro allows you to set the armor in different spots and you can check how the armor feels on your knee when you are sitting on the bike and decide which position seems best.

Pant Size Waist Range Inseam Reg Inseam Short Inseam Tall
Small 28-30 33 31 35
Medium 31-33 33 31 35
Large 34-36 34 32 36
XL 37-39 34 32 36
XXL 40-42 34 32 36
XXXL 42-44 35 32 36
XXXXL 44-46 35 32 36

Measurement tip: With a style like this that MAY be used as an overpant, you’ll want to measure your waist over the clothing you intend to wear under the pants. And measure yourself fairly high up the waist because protective style pants like this are cut to ride higher on your waist than a lot of modern jean styles (so relying just upon the size jeans you buy might result in motorcycle pants that are too small). Right below the navel is about the right height on the waist for measurement.

Our Two Cents

REVIT’s Offtrack pants offer lots of climate control features and armor is included. The perfect match to the Offtrack jacket!

The Offtrack pants offer the same setup as the Offtrack jacket with regard to the liner setup. It is a dual liner setup which is useful in mild or cooler temps and also for wet weather too. You choose whether to use the thermal liner, or the rainproof liner or both together depending upon the conditions you have at the moment. You can experiment in different temps and conditions and see how each works singularly or in tandem. With both liners in use, you can wear these pants down to some pretty cold temps.

In warmer weather, you’ll remove both liners and open the zip vents on the thighs to let some air flow through. With a setup where the waterproofing comes from a removable liner, the air passing through vents goes directly to your skin so it’s pretty effective. The Offtrack jacket has a better selection of vents I’ll have to admit, but having some venting on the pants is a plus for warmer weather. The shell material used in these pants is a little lighter weight than in many REVIT Adventure sets. The Offtrack could work for commuters or touring riders and you could also do some adventure riding too. It’s meant to work for riders that do both and that don’t need the full weight of more robust sets.

CE 2 armor is supplied for the knees and level 1 armor is supplied in the hips, so there is nothing else to add to these pants. The waist zipper is set up to zip to any REVIT jackets either with a short rear zip or an all-around zipper. The all-around zipper is more secure and also it will keep water out better, but it takes a little longer to put together, so you also have the option to just use the short rear zip which is quicker.

Note the two large patch pockets on the front. The opening is a flap that folds over to make them water resistant. The pockets and the leg ends have generous strips of nighttime reflectives too. The leg end is pretty typical… there is a zipper part way up you can open to help get the pants on and then some Velcro adjusters so you can fit the leg ends around your boot tops. The inside of the legs has a material that I suspect is resistant to heat from your bike engine (but I don’t know that for sure). :: Paul, 03-05-19

REVIT says: Go ahead, keep exploring even when the road ends. That’s why we created the Offtrack trousers. Like the Offtrack jacket, it’s comprised with protection, ventilation and storage space in mind. These 3-layer trousers are constructed with an abrasion-resistant outer shell with SEEFLEX™ CE-level 2 knee and SEESMART™ CE-level 1 hip protectors, along with VCS ventilation zippers on the water resistant pockets. Keep your legs cool and well ventilated no matter the climate. The detachable thermal liner and waterproof hydratex®|Mesh G-liner will keep your legs warm and dry when the weather takes a turn for the worse. Furthermore, the generous storage pockets help keep your personal items close.
