Sizing Information

Unisex European sizing; the socks correspond to the size shoes or boots you wear.

Sock Size Men’s Boot Size (US)
35 – 38 4 – 6
39 – 41 6.5 – 8
42 – 44 9 – 10.5
45 – 47 11 – 13

In trying on these socks, I found them to be generously sized and plenty tall to be knee high. If you are between sizes, I’d suggest going down, otherwise choose a size from the chart above.

Our Two Cents

Well, the two REV’IT! sock styles we carry (summer and winter versions) take the prize for the most expensive sock, but I think you should try a pair. I’m sitting here typing with one each of the summer version and winter version on and I’m very impressed. My problem with knee high socks for boots has always been the fit of the calf. Some socks are too narrow and just squeeze the s$#t out of my legs and sometimes even start to rip when I’m pulling them on. Then other socks don’t have good enough stretch material to stay up. And OFTEN, socks just aren’t long enough to comfortably reach all the way to the point just below your knee and pull down when you walk. BUT NOT THESE BABIES! They are generously sized and the weave has a great combination of size and elasticity to pull on easily and stay up. I find the difference in the summer and winter versions to be minimal. The winter version is just slightly thicker and I do see some wool added to the weave (see the breakdown near the top of each product page) for the winter version, which should add a bit of warmth. When in doubt, choose the summer version. The packaging on these socks make all sorts of fantastic claims such as “reduces skin irritation, muscle cramps, overheating, etc”, and I’m sure they’ll do just about as well or better than any other sock I know of in all those departments (but come on, how much is a sock really going to do for you), but in making your buying decision, take to heart my thoughts about the fit. You’ll like them! :: Paul, 10-05-12

Here is some marketing verbiage from REV’IT!’s catalog: The fabrics used in our socks quickly wick moisture away from the skin, while ventilation channels keep the feet cool, dry, and comfortable. To our WINTER TOURING socks we add pure Merino wool for extra insulation, to keep your feet warm, even on the longest winter touring ride. The anatomically shaped foot-bed supports and cushions your feet, providing support where they need it the most.
