Speed and Strength Rover Denim Vest (SOLD OUT)

Vests is a little more forgiving than jackets for fit, but the basics are the same… choose a vest that will be big enough for both your chest and belly. After taking some measurements and trying some one, we find this vest to match the size chart provided by Speed and Strength (see below). Most people will be able to choose the size they normally wear in men’s clothing, but I’d recommend you throw a tape around yourself and check your chest and belly and make sure that the size you choose will be big enough for both. On each side of the waist are tabs which can be used to snug the waist down by about 4” total.

The Rover Denim vest is a denim vest with black leather trim. It has a short mandarin collar with a nice selection of pockets including an inside gun pocket.

A denim vest has the same good looks as a full leather vest, but in warmer temps this vest will be very comfortable because air will flow more freely through. The main front zipper is a larger metal unit which is “two way” meaning it has two zipper pulls so you can zip it open from the bottom if you like. This is a handy feature for shorter riders if the vest sits on your lap in the riding position. You can open the zipper from the bottom and allow the vest to lay down over your legs.

There is a denim placket (flap) and silver snaps over the main zipper to give a sharp look. You get four pockets in front and then one inside patch pocket and a very nice gun pocket. The gun pocket is made of heavy textile material and on one side of the pocket is Velcro to attach your holster (assuming it has mating Velcro on it).

Inside the vest in back there is a large zippered flap so you (or your tailor) can easily access the back side of the leather to attach club colors. And most of the back is one piece to give you a big blank canvas of black leather to add your colors. Overall, an excellent product. :: Paul, 10-03-19
